More Happy Homes!
From Autumn, Steven and Zoey:
I just wanted to thank you for bringing Dexter into our lives. He is the perfect addition to our family! Dexter weighs about 7 lbs at 5 months old, and his coat is coming in beautifully. He has the sweetest playful personality! He gets along really well with our other dog, Zoey. They spend their days playing and snuggling with each other. I also wanted to thank you for the kindness you showed us by letting us pick him up the same day that we called about him. We were so heartbroken after our dog, Holly, died after 14 years with us. Bringing Dexter home has helped us heal and brought so much joy into our lives. We could not be more grateful for him! The link below is to an album that has some pictures of him from the time that we brought him home in September through this week. They are sorted chronologically with the last pictures being the most recent. We hope you enjoy them and that everything is going well for you and your family!
Sincerely,
Autumn & Steven

And from Wendy and her crew -- Nelson just joined her family up in Philadelphia PA
Rhonda,
While I did call and posted some pictures on facebook, I also wanted to send this note.
I want you to know that Nelson arrived safely and made it into our arms, and our hearts. He is so tiny, but just so hugely awesome. I want to thank you for allowing us (Chas., Riley and me) to be chosen as his family. I consider it an honor and privilege, and promise to love and adore him. Thank you, too, for all the little things you did that made this adoption so wonderful...the emailed photos and the nervous mom care and concern...it was very special.
At the moment, the 3 amigos are sleeping on their (all natural organic hemp) bed next to me in the office. So cute when they're all cuddled together. Just as cute is how Nelson follows the other two around. He's their shadow -- he is so in love with his big brothers!!
Thank you again,
-- Wendy

An update from the Dewitts of Tulsa Oklahoma-- First Archie joined their family (see Happy Homes page one) then they decided that Archie needed a sister or two! Here is their crew now, Archie, Bella and Ava!
Rhonda,
I wanted to send you some pictures of Archie, Bella, and Ava.
They are all doing fantastic and we really love them. Archie has become "the boss" and watches out for the two younger ones. He is very protective of them but loves to "rough them up". They are all very playful and very loving. Thank you so much for doing such a great job with all of your dogs.
Sincerely,
Gary DeWint

From Aubrey of Dallas Texas the Proud New Mom of Henry:
Hi Rhonda! I just wanted to give you a quick update on Henry - he's wonderful! I can't believe what a good puppy he is. He was a little scared in the car at first, but he settled down after about 10 minutes and just sat in my lap the rest of the way. Needless to say, he was pretty pooped by the time we got home. We played w/ him a bit and then introduced him to his crate, which, to our shock, he loved instantly and fell right asleep in! I was expecting a long night of puppy cries, but no! He slept until 3, took a potty break, and then went back to sleep until 7:30! He probably cried for 15 mins the entire night. I was so proud! And today he's just been great. A little scared still, getting used to his new surroundings, but I think he's settling in well. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how great he's been! I've attached some pics from last night. Thanks for giving us such a great pup!
- Aubrey
From Aubrey's sister:
Hi Rhonda!
I just wanted to say that I'm so excited to be meeting you very very soon to talk to you about a dachsie of my own! Right now, I have little Henry (adopted by Aubrey, my sister) in my lap. He is just the most adorable pup on the face of the planet. He's been doing well at home with his mama, very playful, absolutely loves his crate, and loves to snuggle! I've attached some pics of the little guy with this email! His little paws are my absolute favorite part. He's becoming more social day by day and a little more talkative. He's a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be in your lap! I can't wait to adopt a little one of my own!

This letter and pictures were sent from Julie's kids. They now live in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with their new family and are loving the snow!

We had such a great Christmas and look at all this white stuff. They said it was called snow and we liked it!!!!! We played and jumped into it and it was taller than us. We has so much fun and we kept warm in our new jackets.
So far I am called Kokamo (i am the brown and cream) and my brother is being called Aspen (cause he likes high altitudes ie the back of the couch, necks anything really tall).
We are having so much fun!
