Just wanted to let you know the Delilah, Reiley and Harley are doing great. Their personalities come out more each day. We are making progress with house breaking but have a long way to go. They love to play in the grass in our back yard. Everyone who has seen them adores them.

Speaking of which they saw our vet. today. He was very Impressed with the obvious care you had given them. Thought I had given them a bath today before taking them in because they were so clean, I had not. Beautiful and perfect, obviously they had been socialized and held and loved, very healthy were a just few of his comments. He is ready to spoil them as he has our past pets. Said he would have to keep you in mind if anyone ask him for a referral.

Trying to get a good picture of the 3 of them is close to impossible, one wants to run off another direction.

Quick update! Puppies are doing well. Sleep all night long, and have since we brought them home. Delilah went to work with me the other day in her airline carrier and sat in it under my desk for 4 hours without a sound. Perfect for her 3 hour flight next month. They are keeping us busy and laughing all the time. So happy we decided it was time to open our hearts and home to dogs again.

We had our second visit with our vet today. Dr. Schaffer is amazed by our three little ones. He said Dachshunds are known to be squeakers or yelpers when given a shot , has always been his experience, we didn’t have a single sound out of any of them. All are very healthy, beautiful coats, developing well. They all have now had their 2^nd set of shots and will get the 3^rd and final ones on the Sept. 13. No Heartworm med’s yet. He wants them up to at least 5 lbs. first. Which may not be as long as anyone would think. They have all grown unbelievably in 2 weeks.

Delilah 3.2 lbs (up 1.2#)

Riley 4.6 lbs (up 1.6#)

Harley 4.2 lbs (up 1.6#)

Check up results PERFECT!

Just a note to let you know our little twins girls are doing great. We are keeping them in the house so they will bond with us. We have a large wire crate in our computer room ( where Roy spends half his life). They have different personalities. Little spot (Heidi) is friendly and stands on the side of the crate to be picked up, She is always fast to greet us. When we take them outside to potty, she picks up a little twig or stick and carries it around. Big spot (Hilda) is more reserve, but just as friendly when picked up. She will be one of our guard dogs because she already barks when there is a different noise or a stranger. Some of our grandchildren have met them. They are beautiful girls, great markings and I can tell that they have been well cared for.

I wanted to give you an update you on Pierre!! He'll will be 8mo old this Oct 26th! I did end up taking him to Pet Smart obedience classes and he is so obedient! He is still teething a bit and has sooo much energy! He is always happy as well! I will attach recent pics of him! And I want to thank you once again for letting me buy him!! I love him! Hi Rhonda!!!!

We are totally smitten with Lady (aka Little Bit)!! She did perfect on the car ride home...she loved looking out the window and taking it all in! She watched a lot of college football with us and got used to her new surroundings yesterday afternoon. We also went to Petsmart and got her all fixed up with everything she could possibly want (and everything I wanted!!). Last night we went to my parents' house and showed her off and they wanted to keep her and offered to babysit anytime.

She did better than I expected last night, given the circumstances. We put her in her crate (outfitted with the most luxurious blankets, etc.) and she cried for about 10 mins in the dark and then she went to sleep. About 2am I got up b/c she was crying and played with her. She then went back into the crate from 2:30-6 at which time she was ready to get up and play with us and show off!! She was soooo full of energy, and I LOVED it! She is now asleep again on the couch!

She is the most AMAZING dog in the world and we just love her soo much! I've attached several pics from the photo shoot yesterday and will plan on sending you many, many more so that you can see how she grows.

Hope you are doing well!!! I just wanted to pass along a quick update on Lady:

Lady is wonderful, officially potty trained, a total diva, and more than anything...the sweetest girl in the entire world! She was a damsel in distress for Halloween and LOVED it!!! She is perfect in every way and gives us soooo many hugs and kisses!!!! She is 5.5 lbs and growing so fast. She is the most popular girl in Dallas right now!

Thank you again for everything. Lady is truly a gift from above! We are so lucky to have her in our lives! Attached are some recent pics!
